I have a really nice 02 300ex and one of my freinds has just bought this very nice 1987 suzuki 250r and it is two powerful for him and mine is to slow for me. He wants to trade but other wise than mine having a higher value is it worth it.

I know this quad has alot of power but how is it on handinling and suspension?

if any body has an opion on the 250r please tell thanks

he is buying it from the origanal owner for $1,500

I wouldn't buy it until you rode it. Check the frame bearing and everything else also for faults.

Yeah check out the spindles and knuckles. That is a weak point on those. I would never buy a quad if I couldnt ride it. I have made dealers let me test out new quads before I would fork out the cash. You have to be sure your going to be happy with the way it will preform.
