i know that the 03 z400 grab bars are not removable but is there anyway to replace something to make it removable?

You need to replace your entire subframe.

They are usually 100.

Yea switch to an '04 subframe. when I had my kfx I nailed the grab bar once and it didn't bend so unless your always hitting it you should be fine.

ya i wont worry about it untill it bends bad but i just wanted to make sure there was a way to replace it if i ever had to

on my old bike i cut off the stock grab bar then welded a brace across the top so it would still be stiff then i welded plates to mount a 250r grab bar, here you can see it with out the grab bar.
