I read somewhere that the wiseco piston rings come already pre-gapped. Is this true?

Typically they will have the correct gap if the piston/bore tolerance is set up correctly. Its still not a bad idea to check it anyways.

ok, thanks. cause i have a wiseco piston in right now, and i forgot to check it. And I was just wondering if i should tear it down to check it, but i'm just going to let it ride till it's time for new rings.............thanks!!
