Ok I just bought a 89 front brake setup for my 87 R. Will all this stuff work on my spindles? Can I put 87 bearings in the 89 hubs will they work on my 87 spindles. Thanx

im 99.5% sure that everything should bolt right up. i could be .5% wrong though...

the 86-87 hub bearings are different diameter than 88-89. so they won't work. the calipers are interchangable, but the spindles are different on 86/87 and 88/89. The caliper brackets are different also. goodluck!

Brakes and brackets will interchange with all years. 86-87 hubs and spindles are the same. 88 hubs and spindles are different from 89 and 86-87. But 88 or 89 hubs will interchange between 88 and 89 spindles. I think you can run all year hubs on all year spindles though, I cant remember its been a long time since I had any 86 R parts.
