I did my pc myslef from the kit from eastwood. easy to do, just takes time.

in this pic I did the hubs, springs, spindles, wheels. I had the frame done beause it dident fit in my oven

swing arm came that color, I dident do it.

i am thinkin bout buying this....what oven did you use it in? and does it smell?

An oven

I use an old regular kitchen oven. Once you use it for powder, however, you cannot use it for food again...

No real smell when its baking, unless theres oil inside the part or something..haha...the powder has a slight smell to it though?

You just throw it in an electric home baking oven. Make sure it is a secondary on because there are some minor toxic fumes that are made during the curing process.

I got the eastwood starter kit and the instruction book. Both are good quality.

got my kit from eastwood 150$
you have to sand blast the parts first, to cleen them of the origonal paint.

dont think it smells. I dont realy smell to good. But no one has said anything about it smelling.

I use this oven... got it from the dump.

....but what about those heat lamps? i saw them in eastwoods cataloge as well?

do you have to sandblast the parts or can they just be stripped im thinking about getting a start kit

You don't really have to blast them. Just make sure that you have a very clean, grease, oil, and dirt free surface to help encourage cohesion.

I would recommend the powder coaters handbook from eastwood also. For $25 its a good read.
