Will any other stock front shock fit on the 300ex that is better that stock( like the raptor shock on the rear) without changing anything

Any shock will fit but they are all to long. The Yfz shock is probaly the best fitting and pair it up with some GHD lt a arms is like a match made in heaven.

Just spend the extra money and buy shocks made for the 300ex. You can get Works shocks cheap off of Ebay or Exriders for cheap if your on a budget or go out and buy some nice Elka. IMO.
