hey. i own a '02 250 EX with a pro circuit T-4 Complete Exhaust, K&N Jet Kit, and DG Nerfs. do you guys think it could beat a stock blaster or 300EX? i dont want to start a fight like in the blaster vs lakota vs 300ex, but i'm just curious.

no....it wont. you will need a little more work to beat either one of them! I suggest a big bore kit and a port and polish

me-250ex w/ graydon and jet kit.
to make it fair dad wasnt allowed to dump the clutch. i beat him off the start and had the race in the bag but if the drag was longer he woulda caught me.(i think)i didnt beat him by much. but when we switched quads i waxed his as$. so to answer your question. with a rider of the same weight the 300ex will win by a slim margin. if the guy on the 300ex is fat the 250ex will win. if the 300ex has any mods the 300 will blow your doors or if he is smaller than you are. but neither is a match for an old yz 80 bored to a 95! :devil

Its funny how most of these people who dis honda's or quads, only post like twice, then we never see them again. and its like I said before, when racing non Honda, just do distance, or until someone breaks down, then the Honda wins!

ihatehonda, i seriously hope you ride in jersey. you'd be surprised how fast that EX hauls ***** now that i got a pro-circuit T-4. maybe i cant beat a blaster on a drag strip or maybe even on a MX Track, but i can smoke your blaster on a trail.I knowfor a fact that blasters stink as trail machines becaue this morning my friend owns a blaster with a 260 bi borekit and fmf pipe and jets the whole deal and if i was able to pass him i would have been doing circles aroud him. if i ever raced yu on trails i would bury you in roost . at least my machine doesnt sound like it's falling apart no matter what shape it's in (the typical sound of a 2-stroke in my opinion).

i am a blaster owner, but don't diss me, i love 400ex's, i don't know about 250's because i have never rode one before, i am going to race mx, i went to the track today and there were like 8 400's, and 1 300ex, well the 400's pulled away from even the ds on the track, drags mean nothing unless you have souped up your machine for drags.

ihatehonda, of course they were neck and neck- they use the same engines, dumb*****!! drag races have alot of factors (weight of the quad, weight of the riders, skill, etc.) so that is an unfair judgement of a 250. of course your piped and jetted blasty will beat a piped and jetted 250. the board started off with me asking if my piped and jetted 250 could beat a STOCK (let me translate that for you: NO AFTERMARKET PARTS) blaster. man, what an idiot.......

if you are talking about a 'race' on an MX track, your banshee probably couldnt beat a stock 400... considering that the handleing doesnt compare.... all you have is motor mods,an i hate to tell ya but dana creech could probably beat you around the track on a STOCK 250ex... i know i wouldnt race him with my 400...... JMO

Ihatehonda- if your so tough lets see how you feel about Suzuki, come out and race my Z400. When I had my 300ex I beat a Blaster with a Stage 2 Trinity Racing kit on it no problem. Alot of winning comes down to whose the better rider and in those circumstances, Im just guessing your losing everytime.

1st......you don't have all this stuff, that's why you won't post a pic, you just looked up on a site all the most expensive stuff and copied and pasted the names of them

2nd.....i will beat you on my 400 easy, cause while you're having to kick that unreliable little quad 37 times, i'll start mine easily with the push of a button and then when, IF, you start to catch up, that piece will just break down on ya half way there.
(and i know you're already going to have it started before a race, i'm just stating a point there)

and last....don't come around here talking *****, cause you can't, and won't prove anything

but back to the subject

i've raced my stock 250ex vs. a stock blaster and it was really close, it just depends on how good of driver the guy on the blaster is(250ex doesn't really matter cause it's auto.) so my piped, k&n, and jetted(coming soon) 250ex could beat a blaster, just depends on the driver

oh and uh abou the 250ex vs blaster or 300ex itd be close. ill let you no if my neighbor with a blaster will ever race me. and when mine was stock i kept up with my dads 300 in the woods.
