A friend of mine has an 04 crf motor that has tons of motor work done to it, and he recently blew it up.. Some of the parts from his motor are still good and the ones that arn't could be redone, but i am just wondering whether i could just use some of his parts on my quad...We were thinking about using his head, and cylinder, and carb, but don't know if it would work... any answers would work out perfect... btw i have an 04 450r

Well, it's very picky on what parts can be used. You can use the carb, the head, you'd have to delete the fan or tap into the CRF watter passage for the thermo sensor. The are different, smaller bore.
