will the yfz fenders fit on a 03 raptor?

Posted by: Racing Rice

I seriously doubt it without a lot of work. It would probably look a little goofy too since the Raptor is such a tall quad.

Posted by: RaptorRacer45

And remember the Radiator placement on the Raptor is a big part of the plastic design

Posted by: fast raptor

i am mostly asking about the back

Posted by: RaptorRacer45

O ok....well i think u might be able 2 rig sometin up on the back, wouldent hurt 2 try

Posted by: fast raptor

ya i think it would look not too bad

Posted by: Racing Rice

The back maybe a little different story. I haven't really paid much attention to the rears on the YFZ. At minimum you would probably have to fab up some brakets. I honestly don't know though.

Posted by: fast raptor

making brackets is easy

Posted by: sixsixzero

ok why would u want to do that.... if u want cool fenders cut em or order some aftermarket ones, thats a disgrace to the raptor to try and fit 450 plastic on it.

My opinion it would look like shi.t

Posted by: Racing Rice

Dare to be different I suppose.

Posted by: fast raptor

i dont have alot of money and i can get yfz fenders alot cheeper than aftermarket ones, plus i am good at fabing **** up, i think it will be fun to try something different.

Do you know someone that has the plastics or are you talking about buying a used set of ebay or something.

If you know someone with a 450 or someone with a spare set of plastics, I would try to set them on there and see how much work needs to be done before you actually buy some.

Posted by: fast raptor

ya i have thought about that. but none of my friends have yfz's, and if i did buy some i would get some used ones off ebay or somthing like that.

Posted by: Racing Rice

Maybe if you could find an cracked set cheap enough you could atleast you them as mock up plastics.

Posted by: fast raptor

ya if you here of any ones forsale let me no. i will probly not be able to buy them in the nexed month though.

Posted by: Racing Rice

I would start posting WTB ads around looking for someone that may want to part with an old set cheap. That would probably be your cheapest bet.
