hey guys, my buddy who has an 04 450r wants to get a pipe. right now he is all stock (with the exception of a K@N) and is looking for an all around performance pipe. he doesnt race in a league or anything, but he favors the low and mid range style racing of MX or XC (top end isnt a huge priority)

with that said, he isnt looking to bust his wallet either. i dont have much experience with pipes for the 450r, but these seem to to be the top 3 choices. what do you guys think would be the best pipe overall (performance, cost, looks) i know i can get the HMF shipped to his house for $215! how much do the other pipes cost, and would he be better off saving his money up to get them? thanks! sorry for being so lenghty!!!

Sparks doesnt make a slipon. I have seen the sparks for like 450-500$

If I were to do it again I might try the rossier, but I love my sparks besides all the noise.

i would consider a DASA pipe, they look really cool and make great power

I have a Rossier on my 04. I had the stock pipe with the HRC kit and had to run a 13 tooth front sproket. Once I put the Rossier on it the bike came alive and I had to go back to the 14.
