I am picking up a 300ex w/ a White bros full exhaust on it. Is there a quiet core that is offered? Does it quiet it down alot or not really?

no matter what, an aftermarket exhaust = more noise

I hear ya, i just wanna see if it will help Im gonna try it for $35, if it doesnt help at all im gonna have to put a stocker on it cause where i ride i like to keep it quiet.

i did not find the white bros exhaust to be that loud unless you add any extra disks to it. mines quit loud but i have 10 disk in so it should be. as for the quiet core it should lower it a couple db's i looked into getting one but then i started racing

I may take some discs out as well, what is the minimum recommended amount of discs to run? 4?

thats the minimum for my supertrapp so its prob the same.

i think its 5-6 but i could be wrong its been a while scince i had that few in mine

Yeah i figured it was around there I have a Supertrapp pipe on my XR 400R
