Bearing carriers

I accidently busted part of the chain adjustment ring off of my stock carrier while removing it from the swingarm. It still works but now part of the left side axle seal is exposed. I know the bearings are sealed so it isn't that much of a problem. However I do want to get another carrier before I go to oregon. Are the dual row carriers by herrmann racing (same as mezaros motorsports I think) any good? A new stock one is almost 300 dollars, don't want to go that route.

dont know if they are the same but a stock one is cast alum and most aftermarkets are billet alum and two times the bearing surface than stock.even at thay my r eats those dual bearing up on the drive side

I am not familiar with the herman but most of the aftermarket carriers are compareable. Personally I would never buy the stock carrier; the bodies are fragile and the bearings are too small and don't last.
