My 400ex has no spark

I need some help with my Honda, It's a 01 400EX. It ran great while taking it out muddin. Well I brought it back covered in mud, and the next day, it wouldn't fire. I tested the plug wire, and there's no current. What the hell could the problem be if just the day before it ran great, and now all the sudden it won't fire?

Check fuses and wires. Find out if any are damaged. Also check coil.

WEll ur first problem is that ur takin a 400ex muddin (not made for that) sell ur 400 and buy a utulity geeze

whats wrong with muddin in a 400ex? iv had it for a year and have used it for that many times, no problems

had mine or 3 or 4 years, no prob's muddin, it dont hurt the quad at all. It just covers up everythign and makes the bike dirty. But yea do what the first guy said.

muddin = short/blown fuses, or bad/broken gorund somewhere. Or if it got hot your starter could have locked up

Ive been saying this cuz it happened to me and I felt so stupid.Check to make sure the plug wire is pushed all the way into the coil.

Hey guy's, thank's for all your help, it turns out it was my damn kill switch, although that's the first thing I checked, I didn't enough attention to it. It seems that even though the switch was in the middle, it has to be dead center to crank over. And now that I feel like a douchebag, I'm pissed. But it's again now. Thank's alot for your help guy's.
