hey, it it really worth paying $50 for that towing insurance thing for if u get your r.v./truck/etc. on the beach?

Never heard of the towing ins... Just air down to 20ish lbs and look at the tide chart and plan accordingly. There's always people driving around helping people who get stuck.. Check this out for info.

I live less then 2 miles from pismo dunes and i have never bought tow insurance, everyone out there is usually pretty nice i got my tahoe stuck once and some guy in a hummer h1 pulled me out no prob, if your driving in just a truck i would air down to 14-18 up front and 8-12 in back. somethin handy to have to is a valve core remover it will save you some major time.

r u guys sure? i have a 36ft. rv and a 22ft inclosed trailer. kinda hevy in my opinion

if ya air down to 15lbs youll be fine.. heavy is somewhat good in sand cause u got traction, but not good cause of getting stuck...youll be fine. i wouldnt get the insurace

locate where you want to camp. Once you air down just dont stop. keep it moving until your where you want to park. Like said above There are a lot of nice people that will give a helping hand if needed.
