I think everyone needs to hold back their comments unless they are asking results. It is ridiculous to read what some people have to say e.g. "Circle JerK!" Great you're 14 years old and proving it. It is a waste of your time to post about something so petty and retarded. Grow up a little, and let the people post about the race coverage everyone is demanding!

Posted by: kle03r

Is "circle jerk" a new track that the 06 GNCs will be running?

Posted by: matt quick

How did Brown go down? Does anybody know what happened?

20. Tim Farr (DNS)

It seems Moto 2, of Round 2, brought us just as many DNFs as the first round did.

Mechanical problems still seem to plague some of the pro field, including Travis Spader. An early tangle with Haavisto resulted in his Fuel line coming disconnected, which resulted in him running out of gas part way through the moto. Jeremiah Jones and Pat Brown also suffered from mechanical issues in moto 2.

Kory Ellis looked just as fast as anyone on the track today, and showed he has the speed to run with the best of them.

Being 6'2", Kory is all arms and legs while riding, and it played to his disadvantage today when he knocked his kill switch loose with his knee, giving up the lead to Joe Byrd where he would remain for the rest of the race to take the moto win and the overall.

Posted by: punksthree

what channel has the races on it

Posted by: hondardr4life

WHAT HAPPENED TO FARR??? This is twice now that he has had quad problems. I bet that Mark was furious. Someone fill me in on what went wrong.

Posted by: YamaWarr0121

/\ if you would have read the thread it says that his ongoing back problems caused him to sit it out. He hurt his back pretty bad in birch creek last year i believe

Posted by: Sandsjbyz22

Its not the bike this round, I believe they said on the webcast it was his back again. He had surgery on it this winter but must of hurt it preety good again.

Yamawarr took the words right out of my mouth

Posted by: Harvey

Way to go Kory Ellis! Glad to see you out front.

Posted by: hondardr4life

Sorry, I didn't really read the whole thing. Thats good that it wasn't mechanical at least. That really sucks for Tim though.

Posted by: Atkins

What happened to Creamer?

He's not having quad problems. Tim had major back surgery less than 3 months ago, he's still very sore and trying to heal. He's just out there to salvage some points and riding for his team, contract and sponsors.

Why DID Brown go down??? Was it another broken axle! If it was, He really NEEDS to get a better one! He Probably had a TEAM AXLE!

I would REALY like to see Pat and Jerimiah going at it with Gust in the Mix. Byrd and Natalie are making it hard for everyone! Got to love it! Cory's on the podium! So many DNF's though! I guess that's racing. Fourstroke style.

What happened to Jones???

Posted by: KWAD GAWD

What is in the world is wrong with the "Factory Yamaha" bikes of Brown and Spader? Is this just bad luck or what're going on? (Must be at least 25 years of age to answer, and be "in the loop").

Also, what happen exactly to Jeremiah's bike this time?
Also, SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE JOE HAVVISTO A GEAR SPONSOR! He's wearing 3 year old Xtreme gear.

Kiddies don't ruin this thread.

I'm pretty sure Brown is running Axcaliber Lone Star axles.

Posted by: hondardr4life

Yea, I would like to know what happened to jeremiah too. I am glad Byrd is doing good this year. Hopefully he will keep it up all season, and Honda can take another championship. Joe Byrd deserves it too, he is the only top 5 guy who doesnt have one.. Who knows.... there is a lot of races left, and anything can happen.

Posted by: Harvey

Guess no one knows what happened ro Jones.

Posted by: Harvey

Yea, what happened to JJ?

Posted by: RG #43

The announcer went across to talk to Pat, and he said it started acting up, but someone made a pass and they left to continue coverage. I really hope Pat can find some better luck and soon. After his machine calfed, he pulled over and continued to cheer on Ellis and the team. I gained alot more respect for him listening in today, and am amazed at how he can keep his composure. But as anyone who has met him, knows, he is a super down to earth guy with alot of talent and just needs a break, or should I say lack of!

Posted by: gonaz

I am not for sure what happened to Jones he pulled off the track and waited by the finish line just to avoid a dnf. But nothing was ever said about what happened and why he didnt race during the 2nd moto the whole way through. He did not seem to be hurt in any way. I do know that in the first moto his engine was smoking. It was a great race just wish the wind would have died down a little.

Posted by: MXRACER86

Hey Harlen, Why the sad face next to this thread?

Posted by: Jersey450R

Its totally awesome to see Donny taking the holeshot the 2nd moto. hes just a great guy to talk to and would help ANYONE out if he could. just a stand-up, great all around guy.
now for Rocco Arno, i know hes a rookie and eveything and seems to be doing ok, but him and i dont really gel. last season when he was nobody, we were in a race at the local track when he was NOBODY, and that damm dude cut me off in the 1st turn causing me to go flipping. i came back to get 4th.
now you would think the dude would feel bad or something...At the start of the 2nd moto, i said to Rocco, "yo man that was me you cut off and i crashed hard because of it". now what do you think he says?? the cocky *** starts laughing and rides away. not trying to bash, but this sport is all about helping people and not trying to piss people off. Just my 2 cents about rocco arno. i do wish him luck though this season, i mean hes gonna need it. if it wasnt for his rich parents that gave him EVERYTHING, he'd be no one. sorry rocco, hope to race you again!

Of all the gear companies Xtreme was the only one who would give him gear

Alright, thanks. I guess hes still out then. I heard about the injury last week, but whoever said it said hed be back for the next round. Hopefully round 3 then.

Posted by: LTZBusa

I would have to say that team yamaha with the exception of Kory Ellis, is just having some bad luck early on. Hopefully everyone can get all their issues ironed out before the next race!!! Is the next race gatorback?

Posted by: extremeblastr

creamer broke his wrist he will be out for about the next 6 weeks from what i hear

Posted by: 4strokesyfz

yes gatorback is the next!!! i think jj have some trouble with is motor in the 1rst moto.

Posted by: STEVENJANNA

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they get 2 "throw away" races out of the 14?

Posted by: brokside

what happened to j jones??? someone please

Posted by: jpmxchic

STEVENJANNA:
I pretty sure the pros don't get any "throw aways"
ProAm and Amatuers get 4 and Youth get 5

In Florida everything is going to change. All the East coast Riders will be there. I know of a few who didn't want to spend an insane amount to go to cali and texas. I can also name a few who wish they stayed home. Doesn't seem to be the most popular pro but Gil Atticks should be back in round 3.

Yep, Gil should be back at round 3. He was supposed to go to Florida with us 2 weeks before Glen Helen to practice but backed out at the last minute. Watch out for him, hes Faaaast!

Posted by: mx3mom

I hope thats not all that changes! If any of you plan on running Pro-Am and Production A be prepared to run back to back motos or have only one race between them. The first race orders they printed were changed the first round and second round, so you can't really go by whats printed to plan your weekend! Might as well run pro you end up running almost as many laps.

Posted by: LT80

Jones had motor problems in moto1.
His mechanics felt that tight motor bolts were not needed on the new motor that they installed for moto2. Go figure eh?!

Oh Yea,, Humping and circle jerk is not needed or respected!

Is there going to be a race report with pictures etc?
