Anyone know an estimate on how much would an Aussie Comp ramp cost to build? I've read you can build one for around 800 if you only use sheet metal where the tracks are. I think Derek said this. We either want to build one or buy the Guetters Orange rev 3.

depending on where you get the steal from you might not be able to build one for that price. i know that the Guetter's neighbor is a manufacturing company so they get there prices direct with no middle man.

What makes it cheaper than building a rev style ramp?

the way we built ours was instead of using the whole sheets of metal, we cut them 2 feet wide (half) and just ran the sheet where the tires go, then cover it all in expanded. its pointless to have it all sheeted, cause your only using the ramp where your tires go, saves weight and about 4 sheets of metal.

Yeah thats a good idea Jon. Is Derek around Jon? I was talking to him about buying your guy's orange ramp. I was wondering if I could pick it up this sunday if the weather permits.
