Noisy clutch when cold

Is anyone elses clutch very noisy when the bike is cold. With the bike in Neutral and it idling when the lever not pulled its very noisy, like a clunking almost. When I pull the lever in the clunk goes away. When the bike is warm the noise is gone. Its got plenty of oil in the trans. Its been doing this I believe since the first winter I had it.
