I'm about to tear down my 450r to fix and gusset the frame. While I have it apart I wanted to clean up the wiring. I heard that the crf harness works. Is that true? Has anyone tried it? Thanks!

I would just take your harness apart.

The CRF harness only works if you replace the Harness,
stator,flywheel,CDI and have the proper machine work done. The TRX harness can be cleaned up alot though.

I sent my stock harness to JH Racing. For like $30 he removed all of the unnecessary clutter. I race MX and didn't need the light plugs, or the fan. I also removed all of the brackets from under the hood before I gusseted and PC'ed the frame. It looks much cleaner now.
