Spark plug wrench? Please help..

Hey,
I was talking to a guy selling a 400ex and it needs a plug and he has one but he said none of his wrenches work and he possibly needs a special wrech. Is this the case or is he using wrong size wrenches??? The bike is a 2001 400ex.. Thanks!

You need to grind the sides of a 18mm long socket to fit in there.

There is a special wrench that the 400ex comes with, a thin walled 18mm socket will fit. I'm still trying to get my plug out... I have really tried yet though.
