if i suck some sand in the intake will it mess up the motor, or will it just burn and come out?

think of it as sand paper, with out the glue or the paper, just use you best judgement, how much sand was inducted? if alot, and somewhat new piston, remove head and clean. if not alot just run the piss outa it, itll just give you an excuse to boar to a 426!
