I was there alot last summer and only once where they checking ages...They asked me and I'm 20...so I would make sure you have an atv saftey cert. if you are under 16! and for the 400ex....You wont have any problems out there on one!!

you can get on the dunes for the price of a ORV sticker i think its 16 bucks and a daily pass for your truck to park 6 or 8 bucks. I buy yearly sticker for my truck cuz i go a lot. have fun.
anyone under 16 must have a atv safty class cert. on you and if you are over 16 you must carry your drivers licence on you. size of quad doesnt matter. My son has been ridding a 400ex since he was 12 at silver.

I've been there a few times and I think it's about 250-300 acres that you are allowed to ride on. Doesn't sound like much but if it's your first time out you'll have a blast. One thing is for certain is that by no means, no way do you go the wrong way in the one way traffic zone. Make sure you hit the center of the dunes where all the evergreens are!
