i play on buying a old banshee and rebuilding it like mxjunkie did,lol he got me inspired to do it,oh by the way mxjunkie your quad looks awesome!

you should be really proud,anyway i found this shee for sale and it looks ok,i would to see your guys opinion on it and how much you guys think it is worth,i dont plan on spending more then 1,500 on one,its a 89 and has a 94 motor in it,pro circuit pipes and some other lil suff,thnx for the help!

Maaybe i got lucky, but i payed $1400 for my shee (check my sig) no problems at all, motor just rebuilt out in CA, and the guy had the title. Yeah i think i got lucky!

i offered him 1500 for it and he said no he wants 1800 so oh welll what can you do?

i would stay away from teh J-arms on the early shee's, pretty weak. you should be able to pick up a nice fix-er-upper for about $1500. we bought a running 99 three years about for $1800, rode it the way we got it for two years and then sold it for $2500. just look around and you will eventually find what you ar looking for.

If you were going to set it up for drag then I'd go for it and tell him to take the $1200 and consider himself lucky. I wouldn't expect to get anything more than that out of it. You can find so many better and newer Banshees for not much more than that.
