So who is all going to run the sport class this year

Posted by: bradley300

i'm up in the air on what i'm doing now. i'll be at a few of them for sure, but i'm gonna have to miss florida thru at least steele creek and maybe south carolina so i can be saving money and planning my wedding (and the wedding is the saturday of steele creek). i'll be at sparta and the ohio's for sure, as well as the ironman. but besides that, i think i'll end up sticking to locals and 6 hour races. but you never know, i might show up at florida and georgia anyway

We're going to try. I just found another former racer to train with.

Brian Henderson, who used to race PRO back in the Hawk, Sloan days of GNCC racing. He was a 4 stroke B class champ in 89 before going PRO and holding the Number 5 for a couple years.

He lives about 2 miles from my house and has a practice track.

He might even make an appearance this year at some GNCC's

That would be awsome!!!!!

i'd love to see a 300ex (or a blaster ) on the podium!

Posted by: countypark

It'll be really hard but I think in a mudfest like the Penton last year it could be done.

But we would have to start up front to avoid the bottlenecks and ride like HE@# to catch them ladies. I think you'll see Steph and Traci on the podium alot this year.

i think steph will be hard to beat in a mud race on that outlaw

hey guys way to represent in Florida......4 riders ????? And if Billy Goods sticks in sportclass for the rest of the season, good luck

Posted by: markk

what was Billy Good riding in Fl???

there will be more sport guys at some of the other races, Flordia is pretty distant race for most of the racers out there.

I think if Billy Good sticks in sport class we just might see a 350cc or less 4-stroke quad on the podium.

he was riding a 250x.....highly modified, had a cannondale frontend looked to be ohlins shocks, 450R swingarm. 3mm stroked motor ( I heard, not sure for a fact )....... looked pretty sweet, silver race plastic, hipers. He was up to 4th overall at one time, but fell back. Don't know what happened to him

he had clutch problems
