I was looking into some 7 paddles for my 300ex, but are they too much? I havn't found any 6 paddles, or else i'd probably get those. Thanks!

those would work ok... but I would go with some regular haulers.. like 20-11-8 6p haulers. gliders are a lil too light. If pismoguy400 sells em to ya for cheap then it might be worth it to go with those...

Why do you say Gliders are too light?

I just think that a 300ex will need a paddle that will hook-up pretty good and not take awhile to do that. Basicly just spin is what I mean. When I think of gliders I think of 250ex or less. Except the glider/hauler combo...
A nice set of angled paddles might be a good idea for that size of bike.

Use 8 paddle Skat-Trak Edges on a 300ex (Sand Skate II's should work equally well). I did that on a friend's piped 300EX and took it up banshee hill at Winchester Bay, OR. Granted it wasn't as fast up the hill as my 'shee or R but it did make it up which no other small 4 stroke did. Plus with the angled paddles it turns better.
Don't bother with straight paddle tires on that bike. If there is something you can't climb with those 8 paddle Edges you don't have enough power to make up anyway.

Yeah if you aren't set on straight paddles then ya might wanna go with what Andrew said.

i run a sand star 8 paddle and it does pretty good

I was looking into some 7 paddle gliders, or some Sand Sharks, i just want to go cheap, since i won't use them a whole lot. Still not sure on straight paddles, but i just thought they'd give me the best traction. I'm not expecting to win any races though, just have a good time, and not sink!

I run Gecko's 8 paddle on my 300 which is modded some, yes they are heavy but for the price they are decent
They are better than knobbies thats for sure LOL I would like to get a lighter set but I have what I have!!
We also run them on our blaster, in fact just got a purty new set on 10" wheels yesterday

I just got a 450 r and I am in Qatar, so will be riding dunes with it. I went to get some Sand Stars today but didnt buy because they had no wheels to mount them on. On the side of the tire it said 'only for bead-lock wheels' ... is this true or can I mount them directly on my honda rims?

i have mine on regular .125 douglas wheels

In a word...NO.
I could run 22" Extremes on our Predator 90 if I geared it accordingly...granted I would probably have to drop 4 teeth on the front and add 5 on the rear but it could be done.
I think you will be fine with those tires but you should consider a gear change.
I have 3 front sprockets and 4 rear sprockets for my 450R and I have tried several different combos until I found the setup I prefer...

I just had a set of Sand Sharks dropped off at my door yesterday, on .125's. O and brent250, if those are the tires i think they are, they are 22". The paddle's look good on them, shouldn't be too much for the 250, but i'd look into a 20" paddle, so you'll be geared a little lower for sand. That way you'll have enough juice to make it up some of the big dunes.

I've got a stock raptor 350 and I run airospeeds (8 paddle 20x11x8) for Silver Lake, MI. it does good if you remember to down shift and keep th R's up, if you don't then you are done. They also work great in snow. I was considring cutting them down to see if it would be more forgiving on down shifts
