recons are the toughest quads ive ever seen....i have totally tore my recon all to hell...ive sank it in every single mudhole i can find, ive driven it thru a river and flooded it out, ive tore the clutches out of it, ive stripped the axle, ive bent the axle, ive jumped it, ive flipped it, i tore the rearend completely out of it...ive got on concrete and held the front brakes and roasted the back tires off of it....this thing took whatever we threw at it....and still kept on...
finally the motor developed a knock...the rod was bent...we still kept on ridding the fugg out of it....and the last time we went to start it....the rod snapped while it was idoling and busted a hole the size of a fist in the case...ive been looking for a new "heart" for this tank for the longest kind of time so we can get her going again...
