what all needs to be done to the 400ex frame to put the yz426 motor in it? is it just changing the motor mounts, ans far as mounting the engine goes?

change the mounts and fabricate some mounts for the raditor that wont be an easy task.

Upper and lower eng mounts
fwd eng mounts bolt on
rear eng spacer and bushing
radiator mounts
exhaust section
Air filtering system
oil tank
some cutting and welding
some work,but what a ride!!!
