hi just put a new plug in my quad and now it seems to go slower in 4th & 5th it is a racing plug

yes it is the right plug same one thats in the manual its a racing plug have also change it to thumb thottle could this have any thing to do with it thanks

you had to change it to a thumb throttle? since they come stock with those i assume that you got this quad from someon else. if you put the correct plug in it and it still runs funny, there has to be something else wrong. perhaps you could contact the person you bought it from to see if they modded anything else.

maybe your throttle isn't pulling the slide in the carb all the way up. With the quad turned off hit full throttle and listen for the slide to hit the top.

sorry mate made a mistake i have changed it to a twist throttle and it say that it can take the plug for higher top end & mid range
