Stress marks in plastics!!!

Ok so lately i've been doin alot of jumpin and i looked at my plastics and i have stress marks on top of where the brackets are! and these marks were not there before the ride and i didn't have any real hard landings. does anybody kno how to get these marks out of there or do i need to get new fullbore's like i was plannin on doin this summer anyways. Any help would be appreciated.

You might be able to hide the stress marks buy heating the area with a heat gun. It worked for me on the wifes 250ex.

yea i was to leary of the whole heat gun method and so i just sanded the thing down then kept gettin finer grit untill i was at 300 grit wet sand paper then put on about 15 coats of platic renew.. .looks like brand new...

If you don't hold the heat gun in one area for a long time you'll be fine.You would have to hold the heat gun in one area for more than a minute before the plastic would start to melt.
