has anyone had this problem? seems when i lean back, maybe landing back low or way back in whoops the front lower edge of the fenders rub the back tires. know any thing that might help? i was at the yama, suckuzki dealer and the z400 rear fenders are bolted to the rear footpeg supports. this seems like it would help.

youve got rear fender supports...more than likely they came out or broke....check it out...

about those supports, wouldnt you have to disconnect them every time you took you seat off. i guess i dont know what you are refering to.

eather you really need new fender supports, or your running huge tire or you really need to lose weight. j/k

hehehe i think your the only one that caught it mr extreme.
when i lean back, my calves push the plastics back into them. im running the factory tires what ever those are. suspension squished+fenders flexed= rubbing
i guess im just asking rinki dink questions
i was just wondering if anyone has experinced this

Posted by: L.Vegas400

yeah i know im fat, you dont have to throw it in my face.

not really. i think what i really need to do is adjust my back shock

damn...if your calves are that big how high can you jump? lol

L.vegas400~~I think i know what you mean..I had the same problem with my 300ex when im leaning too far back with my legs on the fenders..All I can say, is you just need to position your legs to where they arent putting so much pressure on the fenders.I run stock tires on mine right now,but im going to go a size smaller and get Razrs so it wont happen too much now.Wish I had a better answer for ya...

when its time im thinking about smaller tires also. its not really a problem just wondering

i have the same problem....and i think its just body position and the way i ride. i just ordered a 1 1/2 inch taller steering stem and im hoping that will reposition me to a more comfortable riding position and cure the rubbing problem.
