Greetings all,

May I take this oppertunity to say hello to all of you out there, and may be get a question answered at the same time.

I have just purchased a 2006 homologated Road Legal Predator 500, Most of my riding is off road and thus find that I am getting my butt whiped because my Predator is restricted to half of its potential. I believe this is standard practice for road legal quads.

Question is, how do I go about removing the restriction? What have they done to limit the power, and what can I do to ensure that I get what is required for off road use.

you oughta take your quad to the nearest polaris dealer. there is probably some kind of rev-limit restrictor. i have never seen anything like this before, but i talk to someone who works on Predators if not a polaris dealer. try this website: www.predatorowners.com
