i just bought a 300ex today and it has a spark problem. If i pull the plug and check for spark it will only spark one or two times and then no more. anyone have an idea or an electronic copy of the elctrical part of the manual?

i had the same problem on a jetboat rewired the whole thing and it still did the same thing, you may need a new coil? Get a volt meter and test for voltage coming from the coil, if that doesnt work check the continuity from the negative to the positive sides of the harness(continuity is measured in ohms(a measurement of resistance) the lower the number the less resistance, it shouldnt be over 5ish) you will need a multi meter to check thies things. good luck hope this helps.

thanks. i have a FLUKE 187 for the testing. I really need a copy of the electrical trouble shooting part of the manual. I have a 350x coil that i tried and it still did not fire. I will work on it more in the morning.
