Getting ready to buy tires and wonder if I should spend the extra money and get the razr 2's. I have a friend that swears by the 2's but was thinking I would be just as happy with the razr's cause I don't want so much traction that the bike stands up on hills all the time. I mean I can get the razr's in 6 ply so is it really worth the extra $? I have noticed that many ppl have 2's on the front and regular razrs on rear-why is that? Will be riding some XC as far as riding conditions. thanks-

stick with razr's. you can get them at http://www.rockymountainatv.com for about 45 per tire. quite the deal. i think the 6-ply tires cost more though

go with the razors

Razr II fronts are suppose to handle better, but i don't think its that much difference. If you have a sport quad, get the razr's. Razr II rears on a 300, 250, blaster, mojave, ect. may be a bit too much for their power. I love my razr's on my 300, i'd get them again.

Thanks guys that is the train of thought that I had about too much traction vs power. Any output on 6 vs 4 ply- i mean I know it is more protection but what about the sacrifice in ride b/c of the stiffer tires?

i like the razr2s on the front and razr on the rear for dry hard surface and razr2 for the wet muddy stuff.
