Hi guys, I finally got a Fourtrax and am trying to figure out the squish band. I have over 250lbs of compression with 36 thousandths squish. The head is chucked up in the lathe right now, but I need to know how wide to make it for my unported .100 over cylinder. I ride dunes mostly and everything else is stock if that makes any difference.

0.036" isn't bad for squish. Generally, you want the squish to be between 0.035" and 0.040".

So, the height of your squish band looks okay, I wouldn't change that. However, you may want to look at the thickness of your squish band, and your combustion chamber size.

That is exactly the info I need. How thick to cut it. Once I get that figured out, I can work on compression. Thanks for the reply.
