Just got some scoops for my quad. They are from GCD they got a half inch to an inch hole drilled in the scoop. All the pictures I have seen on this forum don't have the hole. Is this new?

I believe its so your Fender mount can go through it.

Yes, the hole is for your fender brackets. If you are running full fenders, you need this to retain all your mounting brackets.

Tinner, how much are your scoops? And can we get them without the hole for the fender supports?

I have some that are made without the holes.
