Id like some more top end out of my bike and dont have the big bucks to go big bore just yet. Right now I have a Paul Turner National woods engine and have a 36mm carb. The bottom end is unreal and the midrange is strong. Top end isnt too impressive. Should a ported stock jug be able to run a bigger carb without sacraficing bottom end? Thanks for any insight

yes i would go with a bigger carb. go with a 39mm pwk. theres a noticible difference on top end but not too much sacraficed on the bottom. I ran that carb on my stock jug and handled it fine.
