i was wondering where the key and neitral light went on the racing front fenders the fender with no headlight

u have to make a spot for them

Posted by: zeppelin

use a hole saw to cut out a spot, then get a heat gun or torch to melt the plastic a little so it will be nice and smooth again

Mainer sells a bit for mounting the key and neutral light...

for my 300ex i used a 1 in speed bit for the ignition and a 1/2 in speed bit for the nuetral indicated. I didnt make a spot for the reverse only because i think that you know when you are in reverse. You can see the ignition a little bit in this picture The nuetral indicator is in the same place, but on the other side.

dont put it on the fenders .you could hit it during a race killing the machine. take some time and some metal and put it handal bars.

I have yet to turn it off during a race. Plus if anybody elses 300ex handle bars are any thing like mine, they know that there isnt any room.

I agree mounting it to the body makes it stationary.Mounting it to the handlebar area(which there isn't much room for)it'll move along with the wires(which could catch and pull out)everytime you move the handle bars.Mount it on the side, the warriors have been mounted ther for years.
