I am looking for a hood scoop for my 400ex. Does anyone make one from anything other than carbon fiber? They seem to be priced high. The Quadtech is $165. I am going to order new plastic and I am going to do away with the headlight. I would order race front fenders, but having cut front fenders doesn't sound too fun for GNCC. Thanks for any help you can give me!

How about cutting a rectangle in the lower portion of the hood. Actuall now that I think about it that wont look too good will it.

if you are tryin to stay with a cheap(price) get a maier hood for the 250r.

heres my maier 250r hood, no hood scoop, but u could make one, i think MR.EX EXTREME is his name , he made a schoop outta the stock plastic and it looks awsome.

Thanks guys. A hood isn't as good as a hood scoop, but for the price differance, it will work.
