I have a quadtech hood that i want to paint. Is it possible to paint carbon fiber? If so where should i go to have it done? Auto body shop?

I am thinking about painting it because it is a sratched up, but i like the way the hood looks. But i may just have a custom # plate made to fit on the top

o thats cool then
just an idea depending on how scratched it is,if its only in small spots paint the scratches and leave some tears looking marks where it shows the cf and maybe get the number painted inide of that...just an idea from a car painter lol and i dont know how messed up it is like i said
but nayways show some b4 and after pics

well u could go to a bodyshop that does custom work and they could do it for ya....u wouldnt really need any airbrushing done unless u wanted too...i have done work similar to what i told u without airbrushing....

It's just like painting fiberglass. Mine was scratched up pretty bad, so I let my buddy the painter have it. A day later it came back looking awesome. I just had him paint it black. Any body shop should be able to help you.

If you want to keep the carbon fiber look then just sand down the hood to get rid of most of the scratches, and then clear coat it.
