I'm going to be ordering some handle bars this weekend and i dont know what to get. I want something noticeablly higher, but not drastically higher. I dont want to spend anything over like 70ish, i think that is enough for a descent set of bars. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.....

not a clue. best thing is to go to a place that sells bars and hold a 100 pars of them till u find the ones u like. I have a 400ex bend and hate it. lol. to much of a backsweep.

ive found the "CR bend" handlebars from MSR to feel about right..
(CR low bend at the moment)
ive not tried many others though.. (one of those "stick with what you know" things)

i expect that all bars listed as "CR bend" would feel about the same..

the height of the hi bars feel about the same as the stock 400EX, but there's a little less of a "rake" or "pull-back".. it makes me feel more "over the quad", with more leverage in a turn..
but im only 5'6" and shorter than alot of the guys i ride with..
