not to ask a stupid question, but does more teeth on the front sprocket give u more top speed or more acceleration??? my friend has a raptor w/ a new sprocket and is telling me the opposite of what a wesbite says.

Yes a bigger sprocket in the front makes u go faster and if u put a smaller sprocket on the rear u go even faster but it ruins ur acceleration.

bigger sprocket meaning...more teeth?

more teeth on front sproket will give you more top speed and less acceleration. and just the opposite if you put on a smaller sproket on the rear.

with a smaller sprolet on the front you get more accerlation and torque but you lose some top end with a big sproket you dont have as much accleration but you have more top end

not to step on anyones ? but what would 1 tooth down in front and 4 teeth up in rear do?
i have full yoshi sys main jet 150 k$n filter lid off killer bottom but thought the mods would take care for the 1 tooth down. would 1 tooth up in front be the best?

I'm not 100% sure but i think it would waist ure $ on sprockets. I think doing that it would put u basically back to were u were, but dont take my word on it.

I just dropped 1 tooth in front and upped it 3 in the rear, gained everything back the 22" Holeshots took away, and then some. Love it!!
