if u put 400ex a arms and rods on a 300ex will it help the suspension of the 300ex or will u have to get new aftermarket shocks?

i read somewhere on here that the 400's a arms are like +1 on each side over a 300...so it would help the 300's susp bottom easier because of the added leverage....i'd reccommend getting after market front shocks any how.....hope this helps
