i am thinking about getting a hood for my 05 400ex but i still need head lights i dont like the looks of the trail tech lights mounted on the bars so i was thinkin frame mounted lights what are your opinions?

trailtech lights r the **** no matter where they r located.....if i wasnt poor id have some lol..a friend of mine acctually had a hood with the scoop,and he somehow kept his stock lights but mounted them in the scoop,dont know what all he did to make it work(if he cut the scoop bigger)but it looked awesome..but yea id deff. go with trail tech...

Fullbore makes this hood which uses trail tech lights. looks pretty sick and not tooo expensive. I know you have an ex but they might fit becasue the ex has that newer headlight style.

i had the trail tech lights and i sent em back cuz i didin like them. i seen people shorten the hood. or u could mount your lights some were else down by the bumper.

my trail techs if i would have cept them i would have mounted them in my air scoops because then you dont rilly see them because their hidden then.

I wouldnt recomend the trail tech lights personally

I had a set on my raptor, I sware I would brake a bulb every damn ride, and the bulbs are like 15.00 bucks a peice.
