after about a long week of practices and racing on the weekend i feel an oil change is nessesary. after goin through 1 or 2 filters a week is costing some bank when added to everything else. i want to know how these reusable oil filters rate with a k&n paper filter. thanks for any help.

I've read good things, but haven't managed to check one out myself yet. Seems like a good idea, those other filters add up to a reasonable sum!

I usually use a oil filter for 2 oil changes- about 6 hours of extreme raceing or 8-10 hours of rideing

My friends mechanic says that they arent the greatest because you have to clean them really,really good or else if some metal chunks are in the filter , they will go right back in your motor. But im sure there fine if you thoroly clean em
