2001 Raptor with holeshots all round k/n filter jetted and no baffle,pro taper handlebars. he is asking around 2200 i have a few questions. Do all the 01 raptors have the transmission problem? The starter is about to go how hard are they to install? How can i get a title? Thnxs tell me if you think its worth it.

I would never buy a 01 raptor. Transmission is the problem.

the starter is easy to replace, but has the one way starter bearing been replaced on it yet? the 01's have the tranny problem, and i would not pay that much for it personally. you may want to spend a little more time and find an 02, or an 01 that has had the 02 tranny upgrade done

i've had a 2001 raptor n ran it hard all its life n it still runs as good as it ever did, i say go for it

once you get it into reverse its really hard to get into nutreal is this a sign of the transmission going bad?

no you just gotta make sure u go from reverse to 1st and then neautral u cant just go from reverse 2 neautral
