Just a note to all interested. I found some aftermarket shocks for my Kymco atvs. Works Performance Shocks has them!!

Also, Dura Blue makes an axle +4

JB Racing has +2 arms

And the Powroll 120cc kit for the 90cc Mongoose.

The youth market is really getting updated!! Its about time.
The works shocks are a great price too!!

hey mike, just picked up a 05 mongoose 90 for my daughter, its her first ride, so i'll probly keep stock for a while.

is there any way to bypass the rev limiter on this? maybe like the honda, as simple as cutting the pink wire.

Sure is. Although its not pink. :-)

First step is to check that all wires are in the connectors on the CDI first. I just ran across a 90 that this did not work on due to a new CDI.

Your CDI will have a 2 wire connector and a 4wire connector.
There are 2 light green wires 1 in the 2 wire and 1 in the four wire.

If you have this configuration then you can cut the light green wire in the 4 wire connector. Make sure you clip in the 4 wire.
As always save yourself some room in case you need to solder it back together.
