i want to get a new 400, i have a 400ex and its time for a change. i was wondering which on of the two (KFX or Z) would be a good buy and which one? and how much does the KFX and the Z 400 cost??

i would say go with the kfx, the green looks alot better than the yellow. as far as mechanics, they r exactly the same and cost the same. also, all aftermarket products that will fit a z400 will fit a kfx.

No, its a "pick your color" option.

They are all the same, except the kfx has an add-on hood, that's about it

KFX, orange or green both with black headlight hood
Z, yellow or white

If you are going to buy new and finance then there might be a diffence. When I got my KFX the interest was 1% lower than Suzuki was offering

Plus its all about the ORANGE!!!!

if i were you iwould go with a dvx,not alot of people have,so you would stand out inthe crowd,everythin thatis made for a kfx or a z400 will fit on a dvx causeits the same exact thing just with different plastics,the only thing that wont fit on it is a graphic kit,but that usally doesnt persuade ppl to buy a z400 or a kfx cause of that lol,personally i like the looks of a dvx better to

But also alot of dealerships will let you finance either the kawi or Zuki under the oppisite company because of there partnership

I have the 06 LTZ in white and it looks sharp. But, the DVX is cool with the removable fenders. Prices are all the same.

well my honad shop has a really good deal on an 04 450R, its 30% off (2000 dollars) off. so the price is 4,500, and with honda you can get a loan and pay it of with 50 bucks a month so im diciding to ether go with that deal or get a kfx 400

I don't know about up there, but down here you can buy an 05 450r for $4500 right from the dealer. They need to move them because of all the changes to the 06.

And what would make the "white" faster? I do believe that they ride what they do out of sponsorship! If the sponsor gave them purple they would ride "purple".

Its true..... Theres less pigment needed to make the white plastics than the colored plastics. Less weight= great power to weight ratio.

haha... come on man. they are the same exact thing. If that really made a difference, every quad would be white.
