yea there not very fast... an xr200 isnt any better i smoked one with my raptor badly

they run more around 55. my best friend has one that he used to ride when i rode my 250ex. we would race and the 250 would win if we didnt hit top speed, otherwise top speed is faster on the crf.

There are very few things not faster than the 250EX on top end. With 20's mine CONSTANTLY hits the rev limiter in 5th gear. It pulls every gear easily, if I could gear up it'd be a bigger competition for the 300EX...

I've only raced an XR200 with the 250EX and I beat it pretty bad. So if it is anything like that then you might want to rethink getting one.
