I just recieved a notice today from honda about a safety recall!

What is the problem?
A safety defect may exist in the transmission thet could allow the rider to downshift from 1st gear into reverse without operating the reverse assist lever. During the saaembly, the reverse lockout spring may not have been properly installed and, while riding, the spring could become disloged. Unitended engagement of the reverse gear while moving forward could lock the rear wheels and may cause the rider to loose control and crash.

the fix should take the dealer under two hours!!

reverse burn out

I received the recall yeasterday but have had zero problems with my quad. Never had a problem with reverse shift procedure either.
