What exactly is the studded Harescramble race coming up in February? Im guessing that you can use Ice studs in your tires, but Im really not sure. Also, does anyone know the exact date of this race? thanks.

feb 5 is the date it is not a points race just a fun race. you can use icescrews in your tires. the ones that are like metal screws.

thanks for the info. i looked at the D-6 website and it does have the first race listed for '06, and it says that the studded race is the first race for the state harescrambles.

Is the February 5th race counted as 5 sign up points towards the PA State Series or did that change? I thought I heard or read that somewhere.
