Does the rear elka off an 05 fit on an 06...has anyone done this...I know the front a-arms and spindles are different but ehat about the back as far as shock mounting goes???

the 06 has a different link and longer swinger.

The 05 shock is shorter and needs a new shaft & also needs to be revalved but after you that it will work fine. I just did one for a customer last week. The fronts are fine. Although we did revalve his and shorten the extened length 1/4.
